Hi everyone, The clinic was a
success despite Mother Nature trying to keep winter in the
area. The sun was shining and none got too cold to shoot.
Thanks to all who helped with the clinic.
GOOD NEWS! The good news is that spring is coming and we
will be practicing at the Fayetteville County fairgrounds
arena. (Same place we tried to have practices last year) Our
first practice is scheduled for April 3, Saturday. If the
weather is fair to middling -- we will practice there. The
arena will be disked and ready for us. Practices will start
no later than 1PM, so please try to arrive early enough to
get tacked up and warmed up. If there are new shooters
please contact one of our experienced members for a simple
orientation. If we get enough new shooters, we will have
another clinic.
The 2010 shooting season is well underway. The CMSA of
Arkansas hosted its first shoot the first weekend of
February... brrrrrrrrr! Not amazingly, it was Arkansas'
lightest turnout in nearly 6 years due to the cold and the
mud. (Many in and out of state shooters could not get their
trailers out of the mud.) The MO-AR-OK Gunslingers club
hosted an MSA shoot in Humansville, MO on March 13 & 14.
With three shoots in two days, plus a timed obstacle course,
shooters had lots of fun. And, the added money there was
fantastic! No complaints here!!! The CMSA of Arkansas is
hosting the March shoot on the 20th & 21st. If you have
never been to a match there is no time like the present! The
match does not start until noon on Saturday so don't worry
if you want to sleep in late. Come on.
Hope to see everyone... if not this weekend... then on April
the third at Fayetteville.
